I want to make sure that the links on this page touch you, inform you, and maybe even change your perception of what you thought before you came to this page. I will be updating this page weekly with a variety of information. Please e-mail me at kikicon10@msn.com, if you would like me to list something here that you feel is important.
The following link is one of the most important ones ever. I have been on a soap box for 30 years to combat this practice of the PUPPY MILL. Almost everyone (with very rare exceptions) selling puppies ,that cannot produce the parents on premises.... will not show you where they keep their dogs......does not show thier dogs in competition......claims to be a broker.....sell on the internet and will ship you a puppy.....is running or aiding the proliforation of a mill.
The saddest thing, in my experience, is that when these places are raided, the humans running the place seem baffled by the outrage. Dogs are livestock.... dogs have no emotions..... are what they tell the authorities!
Ignorance can be cured with education. Mills can be brought to a skreeching halt in one dog's generation if people did their homework when buying a dog. You spend more time buying a stove than a dog!!!!
Get educated... ask questions... call me. I will spend hours talking to clients on many related topics. Just ask my clients.... they can't shut me up!!We can stop this one dog at a time.
The followwing link is one dog's story..... that is making a difference... there are MILLIONS!!

I will be doing volunteer work with Bidawee beginning the end of August. FYI.... they have a wonderful dog walk every Saturday from 9 to 10 am. in Westhampton. We meet at the village green on the east end of town. Great exercise for you and your dog.... remember walking enhances body, mind and spirit.

Urse and I took our first Doga class at Bideawee. It was a wonderful experience! We had never worked together in that way, so we were both a little unsure of what to do. We did, however, get more into the zone as the class progressed. As with anything, repetition and consistencey are nessesary for success. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to have a deeper relationship with their dog. Age and size do not matter... rather the intention and action taken to intensefy the bond between you. Remember, yoga will help create a better balance within yourself and that can have a ripple effect on those around you. Kari Harendorf of East Yoga was our instructor. She is as balanced and calm as she is beautiful... and her dogs?.... well you can only imagine how lucky they are!

This is a pet sitting directory site for those of you who, unfortuneately, are not in my area.
Once a week, I write a blog on Dog Problems.com. This is an excellent training site for any correction you would like to make with your dog, notice, I said WITH YOUR DOG. Whatever training issues you have with your dog, you must look at yourself first. Chances are, you're sending him the wrong message. Communication is the key. You'll be surprised at what you might learn about each other!
